Software Engineer, Growth
An engineer who turns growth into code, from acquisition to retention
You'll find the bottlenecks holding back Factagora's growth and solve them with technology, so our product reaches more users. Working at the intersection of marketing and engineering, you'll design experiments grounded in data, validate them quickly, and ship the results into the product.
Responsibilities
- Designing and building features to improve user acquisition, activation, and retention
- Designing A/B tests and funnel analyses, and analyzing growth experiment results
- Building user lifecycle features such as onboarding flows, notifications, and email automation
- Building dashboards to monitor growth metrics such as DAU, conversion rate, and churn
- Providing technical support for acquisition channels, including SEO and landing page optimization
- Collaborating with Product and Business teams to quickly ship experiment results into the product
Requirements
- 2+ years of software development experience, or equivalent practical ability
- Experience writing production code in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar
- Experience using data analysis tools such as SQL, GA, or Clarity
- Ability to understand service metrics and connect them to technical solutions
- Comfortable running fast experiments and iterations, and structuring the results clearly
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with growth engineering or funnel optimization at a B2B SaaS or professional-audience service
- Experience designing A/B tests yourself and interpreting results with statistical significance in mind
- Hands-on experience with a range of acquisition channels, including SEO, performance marketing, and email automation
- Experience operating a service for a global user base, or comfortable communicating in English
- Experience working in a fast-changing, pre-Series A startup environment
- Strong understanding of AI or deep-tech products
Who We're Looking For
- When you see a number, you naturally ask "why?" and want to verify the answer in code
- You feel at home somewhere between marketing intuition and engineering logic
- When an experiment fails, you turn it into a lesson and design the next one better
- You're motivated by the sense that a growth metric can hinge on a single line of your code
- You genuinely connect with Factagora's mission of building a trustworthy AI and information ecosystem
