Software Engineer, Product

An engineer who builds the product users experience directly

You'll build the moment Factagora's AI solutions actually reach legal and financial professionals. You'll translate complex technology into an intuitive product experience, and help build the cycle where user feedback flows straight into the next release.

Responsibilities

  • Frontend and backend feature development for AI solutions built on the Temporal Knowledge Graph
  • Uncovering and implementing product improvements through user interviews and feedback analysis
  • API design, client integration, and performance optimization
  • Building and maintaining our design system and UI components
  • Designing and implementing UX for the real workflows of journalists, researchers, and AI power users
  • Collaborating with the Research Engineer and Data Infra teams to turn research outcomes into product features

Requirements

  • 2+ years of software development experience, or equivalent practical ability
  • A modern frontend stack such as React, TypeScript, Next.js, or similar
  • Experience integrating with backends via REST APIs or GraphQL
  • Ability to look at the product from the user's perspective and proactively surface improvements
  • Experience visualizing complex information or expressing it through interaction

Preferred Qualifications

  • Product development experience at a B2B SaaS or professional-audience service
  • Experience visualizing complex data such as graphs, networks, and timelines
  • Experience owning a product full-stack, from backend API design to frontend implementation
  • Direct experience with user research or product discovery processes
  • Experience quickly building and validating MVPs at a pre-Series A startup
  • Strong understanding of and interest in AI or deep-tech products
